Our GEAR+ product is a gear oil additive for the treatment of gearboxes and transmission systems. GEAR+ offers the best lubrication and anti-wear protection of the gear and bearing surfaces of all types of gears (helical, spur, and worm drive).

​The smaller Teflon particles in GEAR+, when subjected to pressure and temperature, impregnate the friction surfaces, thus, reduce friction even at startup after lay-up periods. The larger Teflon particles, circulating the gear lubricant, will create a cushion between gear surfaces and will, thereby, decrease the gear pitting. This cushioning effect also reduces the noise caused by minor irregularities of mating surfaces.

GEAR+ has the benefits of reducing friction and operation temperature improving extreme pressure protection. It extends the lifetime of the components and reduces the risk of oil leakages and provides you with quieter operation.

Oil spills from gearboxes can be eliminated or reduced by adding a small quantity of our GEAR SL to the existing lube oil. Lube oil often leaks from small openings in the gearbox, for instance, where the shafts exit or along assembly joints. Due to the content of special-shaped particles in GEAR SL, the leaking gap will soon be stopped, and a barrier established.

GEAR SLL (Stop Leak Large particles) is for larger oil spills from gearboxes. Those leaks can be reduced or eliminated by adding a small quantity of our GEAR SLL to the existing lube oil. Due to the content of larger special-shaped particles in GEAR SL, the leaking gap will soon be stopped, and a barrier established.

Our products are also available in Biodegradable oil-based versions with both saturated and unsaturated ester. They all comply with the 2013 EPA VGP requirements as environmentally acceptable. For more information about our Bioproducts click here.

Extend and increase the protection of rubber seals on moving parts by using our SEAL PROTECT+ when assembling. Even during a longer standstill, the full lubricity capability is maintained reducing the risk of damaging the seals when starting up again. SEAL PROTECT+ is a complex Teflon based lubrication paste, which provides long-term lubrication of components that are otherwise difficult or impossible to lubricate after initial assembly.

Our ABCON MARINE MLP is a Multi-Lubrication Paste that can be applied to all places where you need extremely high film strength, adhesion, and protection during assembling. MLP does not harden with age and protects exposed components against rust and other corrosion. Even aluminum in contact with stainless steel will be protected. MLP also protects well against saltwater.

​MLP maintains its properties up to 250 degrees Celsius. It makes the disassembly of the machinery easier and offers a high degree of residual lubrication.

• Threads (particularly those to be torqued)
• Treads, bolts, etc. which are exposed to seawater
